Kahona was the Water God Tiki at the now defunct Tiki Gardens in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.
Originally, every evening there would be a lighting ceremony where a lovely wahini would "sacrifice" herself lighting a fire in the mouth. Later on, the ceremony just became a lighting of torches surrounding the tiki (with much fanfare, of course)...

 

 

From what I remember, it was made of concrete and was hollow like a chimney. The surface tratment was heavily textured and it had clamshells for eyes. It was approximately 10 feet tall.
